The new settlement established in Goranboy rayon area for internally displaced persons from Kelbejer rayon is waiting for its habitants.

In regard with the implementation of the amendments approved by the decree of President of Azerbaijan Republic dated 31st of October, 2007 to the “State program on improvement of refugee’s and internally displaced person’s the life conditions and increasing their employment ” approved by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic number 298 dated July 1st 2004, the construction of new settlements established for internally displaced persons in Goranboy rayon area is completed and the relocation of internally displaced persons to the settlement will start in coming future.
The construction of 1 new settlement for 596 families (for internally displaced persons from Kelbejer region) in the territory of Goranboy rayon was completed. Common area of the houses is 30800, 16 sq m. 89 houses consist of one roomed flats, 275 houses consist of two roomed flats, and 200 houses are tree roomed. The new settlement was supplied with 1 two-floored school for 360 students, 1 kindergarten for 50 children, 1 club-community center, 1 post office, 1 ambulatory building, and 1 fire extinguishing office with space for two vehicles, road and street network, irrigation water, internal water supply, external water supply, internal electricity supply and external electricity supply, sanitary cleaning.
