A regular board meeting has been held at the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
The meeting highlighted the large-scale, purposeful efforts being carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to revitalize Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, conduct restoration and construction work in the liberated territories, and ensure the return of internally displaced persons to their homeland. It was reiterated that the President’s and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva’s visits to the liberated areas and the continuous oversight of the implementation of the Great Return measures have generated deep satisfaction and gratitude among the internally displaced persons preparing to return to their ancestral lands.
The board meeting addressed issues related to the priority areas of the Great Return State Program I, including the implementation of promotional, informational, and educational activities, the progress of resettling in newly established and restored residential areas in the liberated territories, improvements in the Committee’s electronic information database, electronic document circulation, and the operational condition of the housing fund managed by the Housing Exploitation Department. Reports from relevant structural divisions were heard and feedback, comments, and suggestions were discussed.
Chairman of the State Committee, Rovshan Rzayev, emphasized the importance of working with greater responsibility to fulfill the President’s directives and assigned tasks, stating that the sequential and timely implementation of the complex measures determined for the effective organization of the Great Return must be ensured.
Decisions were made on the issues discussed during the meeting.
