On July 23, the Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev heard the appeals of the citizens who were registered for reception on a first-come, first-served basis and answered their questions.

The appeals of the citizens were mainly related to the improvement of housing and living conditions, communal services, status, single monthly allowance, employment, return to the territories freed from occupation and other issues.

It was brought to attention that the perfect political line led by President Ilham Aliyev ensures the comprehensive and sustainable development of our country and the consistent implementation of all social projects. It was mentioned that President Ilham Aliyev identified the solution of the problems of IDPs as one of the priority areas of social policy. Necessary measures are being taken to improve their housing and living conditions, to ensure stable settlement of the population in the territories freed from occupation. First Vice-President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva also pays special attention and care to the solution of housing, education, and health problems of IDPs and does important works in this field.

At the reception of the chairman of the committee, the appeals of the citizens, most of whom were IDPs, were heard and recorded accordingly. They were told that the issues raised will be investigated and resolved in accordance with the legislation.
