“Thank God our lands have been liberated from occupation. As part of the Great Return, I recently visited the village of Aghali in Zangilan and spoke with the people settled there. Every returned resident is very satisfied with their life” said Gulmammad Mammadov, a Doctor of Philosophy in the field of biophysics.

The scientist, who emphasized his desire to engage in teaching at Karabakh University, called on intellectuals to actively support the Great Return process.

Under the First State Program on the Great Return to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, large-scale restoration and construction works are being carried out in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur. First and foremost, modern infrastructure is being formed, and the necessary conditions for sustainable settlement and economic reintegration are being created. The State Committee is conducting information, promotion, and advocacy activities for the return of internally displaced persons to newly established settlements. In this context, videos are being prepared with the participation of intellectuals, youth, and professionals from the liberated territories.
