On February 28, another migration caravan, leaving the Garadagh district of Baku city, reached the region of Lachin. A ceremony was held to present the keys to their apartments to newly relocated families.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the special mission of the President of Azerbaijan and the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs in Lachin district, which is part of the East Zangezur economic region of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The resettled families will live in the houses, which were restored or rebuilt on the basis of the instructions of the head of state after the end of the occupation. At this point, another 20 families - 78 people were moved to Lachin city, 4 families - 11 people were moved to Zabukh village.
At the same time, permanent settlement of 451 families, i.e. 1705 people, was provided in Lachin city and 211 families, i.e. 808 people, was provided in Zabukh village.
