The return of internally displaced people to their homeland is ongoing, according the First State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the restored and resettled settlements, about 1,300 families have been settled thus far.
“The Great Return to our Karabakh has begun. This process is the focus of attention of all Azerbaijanis, not just me” - such thoughts were expressed by the popular singer, People’s Artist Roya Aykhan, who shared her thoughts about returning to our territories liberated from occupation.
The People’s Artist’s dream is to give a concert with a large orchestra in the liberated territories. “We are returning to our homes,” said Roya Aykhan, calling on former internally displaced persons: “Return to your homes with love.”
In new and restored settlements in the liberated territories, equipped with all the necessary socio-technical infrastructure, conditions have been created for the safety and comfort of residents. Hundreds of thousands of internally displaced persons are eagerly preparing to return to their native lands. Among them are cultural and artistic figures whom we all know very well.
