Following the directive of President Ilham Aliyev, the return of former IDPs to the city of Fuzuli remains underway.
On December 13, the next migration caravan departed from the Garadagh district of Baku, facilitating the return of another 25 families, comprising 112 individuals, to Fuzuli city.
Due to resounding victory achieved by the brave Azerbaijani army under the leadership of Victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, IDPs are now able to return to their homeland voluntarily, safely, and with dignity after three decades. The residents of Fuzuli expressed profound gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the extensive state support, and to the courageous Azerbaijani Army for liberation of lands from occupation. They also paid solemn tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for liberation of our lands.
Former IDPs will be able to reside in new homes in the recently constructed residences within Fuzuli city.
This marks the permanent settlement of 358 families, totalling 1298 individuals, in Fuzuli.
