Many IDPs from different regions whose territories have been liberated from occupation apply to move to Khankandi, according to the State Committee for the Affairs of Refugees and IDPs.

We would like to let you know that, as part of the First State Program on the Great Return, resettlement is taking place to the villages that are being rebuilt and restored in the territories that have been liberated from occupation. IDPs are currently only given a permanent place to live in the city, district, village, or settlement where they have registered.

Consequently, the intention is to transfer internally displaced people from that region to Khankandi city.
