In accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the return of former IDPs to the reconstructed Zabukh village of Lachin region continues.
On November 20, the next migration caravan was sent from the Garadagh district of Baku. At the first stage, 25 families - 91 people shall be transferred to the village.
As a result of the victory of the brave Azerbaijani army under the leadership of President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, it became possible for IDPs to return to their homeland voluntarily, safely and with dignity after 30 years. Zabukh people who returned to their homeland thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for their comprehensive state care. They also expressed their gratitude to the brave Azerbaijani army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, wished mercy to our martyrs who died on this path, and patience to their families.
Thus, the permanent settlement of 96 families, i.e. 382 people, was provided in Zabukh village of Lachin region.
