Training courses on the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Combating Corruption” and “Education on Combating Corruption” were conducted for employees of structural divisions of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons. The purpose of the training was to increase consciousness of the implementation issues of the current rule.

Deputy Head of the Law and Human Resources Department of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Mirhuseyn Huseynov gave detailed information to the training participants about the concept of corruption, objects and types of corruption offenses and responsibility for them, international experience in combating corruption, methods and means of combating it, consideration of appeals about corruption offenses and other issues.

It was noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, an efficient administration system was established in Azerbaijan, and the fight against corruption became one of the priorities.

The training was carried out within the framework of the “National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight Against Corruption for 2022-2026” approved by Decree No. 3199 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 4, 2022. Approximately 30 employees of the committee were involved in the training.

The training ended with a Q&A and discussion.
