Significant efforts are underway to restore territories that have been liberated and to facilitate their integration into the national economy for sustainable development. One of the priority strategies involves providing Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) the opportunity to engage in economic activities in their ancestral homes. With support from relevant state institutions, hundreds of families involved in beekeeping and animal husbandry temporarily relocate their farms seasonally to pastures in the liberated territories.
Among those who continue their agricultural endeavours in their homeland are beekeepers Khanlar Sardar Aliyev and Agil Maharram Movsumov. These experienced beekeepers have dedicated many years to their craft and are now delighted to foster the growth of their farms on fertile ancestral lands.
IDPs who witnessed liberation of lands and are successfully pursuing their livelihoods extend their gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, the courageous Azerbaijani Army, our brave soldiers and officers. They also pray for the mercy of God upon our martyrs and the recovery of soldiers wounded during the war.
Videos featuring interviews with residents from regions recently freed from occupation, are in the works.
