Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, met with a group of young people from regions liberated from occupation.
It was noted that the foundation of the youth policy of independent Azerbaijan was laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev, and this policy is further improved and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva pays special attention to the implementation of self-development projects of youth.
It was noted with great satisfaction that the role of our youth was great in the historical Victory won in the Patriotic War and that they were young people who grew up during the presidency of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. It was emphasized that in the stage of the Great Return, our youth have important duties, and it is important for their active participation in renovation of the territories liberated from occupation and turning them into modern residential places. It was noted that our youth should direct the knowledge and skills they have gained in various fields to the reintegration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur into the economy of the republic.
Among the meeting participants - Katiba Khalilova (Kalbajar), Asim Pirimov (Aghdam), Khazar Baghirov (Zangilan), Jamala Mammadova (Fuzuli), Lala Novruzova (Jabrayil), Yusif Jafarbayli (Lachin), Togrul Babazada and Zaur Maharramzada (Shusha) spoke and highly valued the attention and care shown by the state to young people. They thanked the head of our state for the opportunities created for their development. They expressed their readiness to actively participate in the measures implemented in the field of restoration, reconstruction and sustainable settlement of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur.
Young representatives of Zabux, Sus villages of Lachin region and Shukurbayli village of Jabrayil region, who are planned to be relocated to their native lands this year, also participated in the meeting.
