The State Committee for Refugees and IDPs jointly with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) organizes various trainings, round tables, and regular meetings to ensure employment opportunities for women IDPs.
The cooperation also covers joint projects intended to increase activities of women IDPs in the territory of Barda district. "Increasing the level of engagement of internally displaced women in the social, economic and cultural spheres" project is aimed at supporting development and increasing awareness of internally displaced women in the field of employment, increasing their knowledge and skills, and encouraging them to engage in social, economic, and cultural life.
The pilot project, which has already been launched will cover 40 internally displaced women living in IDP settlements for 588 and 866 families, as well as in Alachadirli village in the territory of Barda district.
