On April 30, “educational-interactive trainings on mine and explosive ordnance protection” will be held within the framework of joint cooperation between the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Mine Mark Foundation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for teachers working in IDP schools located in more than 10 areas, including Baku, Absheron and Sumgayit cities. It is planned that more than 50 people working in computer science and related specialties will take part in the online trainings.
The main purpose of the training is to educate teachers in the field of mine risk, to instill in students the knowledge instilled in them by foreign experts in the form of interactive competitions-games.
It should be noted that while the demining of the liberated areas continues, it is important for the effectiveness of the project to educate students in this field, to choose interactive games as a method to make this process more entertaining.
