State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs (SCFWCA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Aghjabadi, Barda and Tartar Women Resources Centres (WRC) have started joint cooperation within the “Increasing the competencies of the women included in vulnerable groups affected by the conflict in Azerbaijan, and creation of equal opportunities for them in order to eliminate the obstacles preventing economic and social participation" project. Legal and psychological assistance shall be provided to the IDP women; self-employment support and different courses teaching services shall be provided for those who want to start small and medium-sized business activities.
Primary vocational knowledge on the computers, tailoring, sweets, beauty salon and a number of other fields shall be instilled in the women with the IDP status at Aghjabadi, Barda and Tartar Women Resources Centres (WRC). At the same time, it is also planned to carry out online teaching of the services in such the selected fields as psychological, legal fields and leadership.
It should be noted that it is planned to organize vocational training courses for each IDP woman aged 18-65 free of charge and regularly. By participating in above- mentioned events, the IDPs shall get primary professional knowledge and shall be able to apply their available experience in their future careers at the next stage. able to contact the coordinator of the Women Resources Centres of corresponding territory where they live.
