The resettlement of IDPs in the residential complex Gobu Park-2, which was built in Garadagh district of Baku and officially opened on October 8, will begin.

For this purpose, on October 10, a draw was held among IDPs temporarily settled in the hostel # 4 of the Azerbaijan Medical University.

The event focused on the work done by our state in addressing housing problem of IDPs. It was noted that President Ilham Aliyev keeps solution of the problems of IDPs in the focus of attention. First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva is also sensitive to the issues of internally displaced persons.

On April 26, 2019 First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva met with IDPs living in the hostel # 4 of the Medical University in Nasimi district, familiarized with their living conditions and listened to their appeals. The First Vice President said her arrival at the dormitory is aimed at solving housing problem of the displaced persons living here, and said that they will be provided with normal living conditions as soon as possible.

Gobu Park-2 residential complex, which foundation was laid in September of last year, has 10-storey 13 buildings as well as school, kindergarten, polyclinic, gym, wrestling and fitness hall, chess centre, market and catering facilities.
