On January 19, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs held a volunteer blood donation action “Ganimiz bir janimiz bir” (our blood and our soul are the one and same) for the first time on the occasion of the anniversary of January 20 tragedy. The purpose of the action is to help protect the health of our soldiers who stand at the forefront of the fight for the territorial integrity of our country. The action was carried out by the brigade consisting of 20 doctors of the Military Blood Transfusion Station of the Ministry of Defense. Nearly 100 employees of the State Committee donated blood as volunteer donors within the action. Collected blood samples will be checked at the Military Blood Transfusion Station and then used for the treatment of patients.
