On May 15, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, received the IDPs with the participation of deputy chairmen of the State Committee, heads of divisions and departments, heads of sectors in Baku and deputy heads of the executive powers of the occupied regions. During the reception, applications were made collectively and individually regarding housing, registration, utilities, repair and restoration issues. The applications of internally displaced persons living in different parts of the country were mainly related to provision with apartment. Listening to the problems of internally displaced persons, the Chairman of the State Committee said that the President Ilham Aliyev is always focused on the solution of social problems of refugees and internally displaced persons. Great work is being carried out under the leadership of the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva in particular to improve their living conditions. The Chairman of the State Committee emphasized that it is planned to relocate IDPs settling in the damaged buildings to new apartments in stages in the next days. During the meeting, discussions were made on the work done regarding internally displaced persons and the existing problems with the IDPs came to the reception from the regions. They were closely acquainted with their problems by listening to them individually and provided a comprehensive explanation to IDPs regarding appeals and concerned issues. The Chairman of the State Committee gave his instructions about investigating the appeals and taking appropriate measures in a short time.
