On August 13, another migration caravan was sent from Masazir village of Absheron region to Aghali village of Zangilan region: 22 families - 106 people temporarily settled in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron region will start living in their native land. They are residents of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Aghali villages, which were completely destroyed during the occupation of the Armenians.
Residents of Aghali expressed their gratitude to the President, Victorious Supreme Commander-In-Chief Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, the brave Azerbaijani army that liberated our lands from occupation, our heroic soldiers and officers for being surrounded by comprehensive state care.
The distribution of houses was carried out by lot on the basis of the currently valid rules for the provision of new residential areas to IDPs, on the basis of the principles of transparency and fairness. The draw was held on August 4 at the Repatriation Department of the State Committee.
Representatives of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan regions included in the East Zangazur Economic Region, Executive Power of Zangilan region and other officials attended the departure ceremony.
Thus, the number of families permanently settled in Aghali village will reach 108 (526 people). The relocation to the village will continue.
