First aid trainings started in Guzanli settlement on September 22 at the initiative of and organized by the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, supported by Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Aghdam Region Executive Power. 

Local residents and IDPs were involved in the trainings. The trainings provided with the necessary equipment and materials by ARCS and ICRC are conducted by highly qualified trainers. The training program includes first aid and its basic principles, initial testing, personal safety and scene assessment, examination and rehabilitation of sufferer, demonstration of practical habits on first aid in case of burns. The purpose of first aid is to take usual and necessary medical actions to save the life of sufferer, relieve the pain and prevent aggravation of the condition.   

The trainings will last until September 25.
