On June 25, Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs held the next reception of IDPs.

The President Ilham Aliyev defined paying attention and sensitivity to the appeals of the citizens who are in particular need of social protection, including IDPs as an important and urgent task of all state authorities. According to the instruction of the head of our state the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs created the necessary conditions for citizens to freely and conveniently exercise their right of appeal based on the effective legislation.                      

The appeals of more than 40 citizens were listened to and properly registered at the reception held today at the State Committee. The appeals were mainly related to improvement of housing and living conditions, determination of single monthly allowance, employment, status and other issues. 

IDPs were once again informed that addressing their problems is of the priorities of the President Ilham Aliyev`s social policy. Important measures are being taken to improve the housing and living conditions of the citizens from this category, and this process is being implemented in stages. The instruction given by the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva about providing the IDPs living in the most severe conditions with new apartments in the first place is being implemented.      

The issues raised by the citizens who attended the reception will be investigated in detail and settled within the effective legislation.
