Based on the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in the cities and regions by the heads of central executive powers, Rovshan Rzayev, the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs received citizens in Yevlakh.

The IDPs temporarily settled in Yevlakh and Mingachevir attended the reception. The appeals were mainly related to the allocation of special-purpose residential areas owned by the state housing foundation, appointment of single monthly allowances and employment issues. 

The citizens were provided with detailed information on the state measures taken for the solution of social problems of IDPs, as well as improvement of housing and living conditions and expansion of employment opportunities. It was noted that the President Ilham Aliyev pays constant attention to strengthening the social protection of IDPs. Increase of single monthly allowance amount by 50 percent from April 1 of this year is another proof of it. New settlements are being built for IDPs, and equity and transparency are provided regarding giving apartments to them. 

It was noted that instruction given by the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, who treats the problems of the citizens who are in need of social protection in a sensitive way, about relocation of IDPs still living under severe conditions to new apartments is being executed.   

Certain part of the issues raised by IDPs at the reception was resolved on the spot. Relevant instructions were given to investigate other issues and take appropriate measures.
