Based on the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in the cities and regions by the heads of central executive powers, on January 18, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs received citizens in Imishli. IDPs temporarily settled in Imishli, Bilasuvar, Saatli and Sabirabad attended the reception. Their appeals were mainly related to improvement of housing and living conditions, employment, status, utilities, single monthly allowances and other issues. IDPs were reminded that the President Ilham Aliyev pays great attention to the solution of social problems of the citizens from this category. Purposeful measures are being taken to improve the living conditions of IDPs, and construction of residential complexes with all kinds of infrastructure is underway. This year, new settlements will be put into use in Beylagan, Shirvan and other places. First of all, IDPs still living under the most severe conditions are relocated to new houses and apartments by the instruction of the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva. The government strictly monitors the relocation process being carried out in a fair and transparent manner. Some of the appeals of citizens attended the reception were resolved in the spot. Chairman of the State Committee said that the issues raised in the appeals will be investigated and appropriate measures will be taken in a short time.
