On December 25, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs held the next reception of citizens. The Chairman of the State Committee Rovshan Rzayev and other senior officials received citizens individually. Majority of the appeals were related to housing and living problems of IDPs, their employment, unified monthly allowance, utilities and other issues. IDPs were informed about the state policy carried out to improve their living conditions and solve their social problems. It was noted that the President Ilham Aliyev put forward the problems of IDPs among social issues. As a result of the work carried out by the instruction of the head of state, the problems of citizens from this category were solved at the highest level and a record number was achieved this year in the number of IDPs provided with new apartments. The First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva keeps the execution of her instruction regarding improvement of the housing conditions of IDPs living under severe conditions in damaged and useless buildings in Baku and Sumgait under control. At the same time, it was noted that there are sufficient funds in the state budget allocated for solving the problems of IDPs in the next year. Relevant structures of the State Committee were given specific instructions to address the issues raised by IDP at the reception.
