Based on the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in the cities and regions by the heads of central executive powers, on December 21, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs received citizens in Sumgait. IDPs temporarily settled in Sumgait, Absheron and IDPs from Gubadli attended the reception. The appeals of IDPs were mainly related to housing, employment, utilities, unified monthly allowance and other issues. It was noted that the improvement of housing and living conditions and solution of other social issues of IDPs is always in the spotlight of the President Ilham Aliyev. This year a settlement for 1000 people is being built in the first stage in the land allocated in Absheron district for 2900 internally displaced families settled in dormitories in Sumgait and it will soon be put into operation. The instruction of Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, who dedicated the first meeting held after the appointment as the First Vice President to the relocation of the refugee and internally displaced families temporarily settled in the dormitories of Baku and Sumgait on relocation of IDPs still living under severe conditions in damaged buildings to new apartments in the first place is being successfully implemented. The appeals of all citizens, who attended the reception, were registered. Some of the appeals were resolved on the spot. The Chairman of the State Committee gave instructions to investigate other appeals in a short time and take appropriate measures.
