On October 30, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs held the next reception of IDPs. The Chairman Rovshan Rzayev, Deputy Chairmen, head of staff, heads of divisions and departments of the State Committee attended the reception. IDPs enrolled to the reception beforehand were individually received by the Chairman of the State Committee and their appeals were listened. The appeals were mainly related to housing, status, single monthly allowance, employment and other issues. It was brought to attention that our state constantly cares for providing IDPs with new apartments and addressing their social problems. The President Ilham Aliyev defined the issue related to IDPs as one of the priorities of social policy. Consistent measures are being taken to improve the living conditions and ensure the employment of the citizens of this category under the instruction of the head of state. The implementation of the instruction given by the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva about relocation of IDPs living under severe conditions in emergency buildings and structures to new apartments in the first place is underway. Relevant structures of the State Committee were given specific instructions to address the issues raised by IDPs in their appeals.
