Based on the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in the cities and regions by the heads of central executive powers, on October 26, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs received citizens at Mugham Center in Horadiz, Fuzuli. Citizens living in Fuzuli and Beylagan, as well as Jojug Marjanli (Jabrayil region) attended the reception. Majority of the applicants were people settled in those areas as IDPs. Their appeals were mainly related with provision of special-purpose residential areas owned by the state housing fund, determination of a single monthly allowance, and employment issues. The citizens were provided with detailed information on the solution of social problems of IDPs, including the state measures taken to improve living conditions and employment opportunities of them. It was noted that the construction of new settlements and provision of employment for IDPs is a result of the care and attention shown by the President Ilham Aliyev. Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice President, treats very sensitively the problems of IDPs, and personally keeps the progress of relocation of internally displaced families living in damaged buildings and in the most severe conditions in the first place under control. Some of the appeals of the citizens were resolved on the spot. The Chairman of the State Committee said that the issues raised in the appeals will be investigated in a short time and appropriate measures will be taken.
