On September 4, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs held the next meeting with IDPs. Appeals of IDPs who came from Baku and other regions were considered at the meeting attended by the Chairman, Deputy Chairmen, heads of divisions and departments of the State Committee. The appeals were mainly related to housing, utilities, status and employment. The Chairman of the Committee listened to them individually and gave detailed explanations on their appeals. Internally displaced persons were informed that the President Ilham Aliyev is always focused on the improvement of their living conditions. Consistent and purposeful measures are being taken in this direction at the initiative of the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. Internally displaced persons were relocated to modern settlements with all necessary infrastructures from temporary shelters and camping areas as a result of the attention and care shown to them. After the liberation of our territories from the occupation under the leadership of the President Ilham Aliyev, such settlements will be built in those areas as well. The Chairman of the State Committee said that the appeals will be investigated and relevant measures will be taken in a short time.
