Based on the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in the cities and regions by the heads of central executive powers, on August 31, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs received citizens in Yeni Chalabikhan settlement built for IDPs in Shaki. Appeals of the IDPs temporarily settled in Shaki, Gakh, Zagatala, Balakan, Oghuz and Gabala were reviewed at the reception. The appeals of IDPs were mainly related to housing and living conditions, status, employment, utilities and other social problems. The Chairman of the Committee individually listened to them and the appeals were recorded. It was mentioned that the President Ilham Aliyev always keeps the problems of IDPs in the center of attention and determined this issue as one of the priorities of the state social policy. The First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva gave instructions on accelerating the work related with the IDPs living in the most severe conditions and in damaged buildings. Some of the appeals were resolved on the spot. The Chairman of the State Committee said that other appeals will be investigated in a short time and appropriate measures will be taken.
