On 29 August, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, met with IDPs temporarily settled in the dormitory No.3 of the Maritime School in Khatai District. The IDPs informed the Chairman of the Committee about their living conditions, problems they encountered. The Chairman of the State Committee individually listened to the appeals of IDPs and gave detailed explanation concerning the issues addressed. It was noted that providing IDPs with new apartments is being implemented in stages. New settlements are built for IDPs every year in accordance with the orders and instructions of the President Ilham Aliyev. The First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva always keeps the implementation of the projects related to our citizens from this category in the center of attention. Various projects are being implemented at the state level to improve material well-being of IDPs and ensure their employment. Applications of the IDPs attended the meeting were recorded. The Chairman of the State Committee said that the appeals will be investigated and appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with law. It was noted that such meetings are planned to be held in other cities and regions as well.
