Citizens are received in the regions by the heads of central executive powers, and measures are taken to address their appeals, applications and complaints on various issues according to the instructions and recommendations of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. On May 30, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs received the IDPs from Lachin, as well as about 200 IDPs settled in Aghjabadi, Barda, Tartar and Aghdam in Takhtakorpu settlement of Aghjabadi. Individual and collective appeals related to housing, registration, utilities, road repair, repair and restoration, employment and other such issue were made by the IDPs at the reception. Considering the fact that the appeals at the reception were mostly related to housing, the Chairman of the State Committee noted that the solution of the problems of refugees and IDPs in the country is still in the spotlight of the President Ilham Aliyev as usual. Large-scale work, social projects are being implemented to improve the living conditions of refugees and IDPs under the leadership and at the initiative of Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice President of our country. Nevertheless, underlining that there are still the IDPs living under severe conditions, Rovshan Rzayev said that necessary measures will be taken to gradually and systematically improve the living conditions of our compatriots. The Chairman of the State Committee listened to the appeals, complaints and suggestions of IDPs, gave specific instructions to investigate and address their problems in accordance with law. The IDPs expressed their gratitude to the head of state for the attention and care. Rovshan Rzayev said that meetings with IDPs will be held in other regions of the country as well.
