On July 3, Eldar Zeynalov, Head of the Apparatus of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and Chairman of the Commission for Organizing Permanent Settlement in the Liberated Territories, held the next public reception.

It was noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, extensive measures have been implemented to improve the living conditions of internally displaced persons and increase their employment opportunities. It was also highlighted that First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva has shown special attention and care to people affected by the war, including internally displaced persons.

During the individual reception, the internally displaced persons expressed their desire to return to their homeland and expressed satisfaction with the government’s efforts in this regard. The citizens’ requests were mainly related to improving housing conditions, utility services, status, unified monthly benefits, employment, return to liberated territories, and other issues. They were informed that their requests and raised issues would be investigated and answered in accordance with the legislation.
