President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has visited the Tartar district.
The head of state attended the opening of a recreational park in the Sugovushan settlement of the Tartar district.
Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region (except Shusha district) Emin Huseynov and Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev informed the head of state on the works done in the park.
The park with a total area of 7.5 hectares has a playground, benches, sport equipment, cafe, tourism information kiosk, parking space.
The foundation stone of the Sugovushan recreational park was laid on March 20, 2022 with participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
The second phase of the process of the Sugovushan tourism infrastructure creation will see construction of a new bridge, conservation of an old bridge and temple, adaptation of the existing flag square with the park, large-scale landscaping work.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has participated in a ceremony to commission the Sugovushan reservoir after its repair and renovation in the Tartar district.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency Zaur Mikayilov briefed the President of Azerbaijan on the works done.
The total capacity of the reservoir is 5.86 million cubic meters. The dam is 630 meters long, 28 meters high and 10 meters wide.
The head of state saw a video about works accomplished at the reservoir.
President Ilham Aliyev launched the Sugovushan reservoir.
A new administrative building, security office, maintenance office and pumping station have been built here.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has raised the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the territory of the Sarsang reservoir.
The head of state then toured the territory of the reservoir.
The Sarsang reservoir was built on the initiative of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. In 1976, National Leader Heydar Aliyev personally attended the opening of the reservoir.
The Sarsang reservoir is located on the River of Tartarchay.
