On October 11, Rovshan Rzayev, the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, met with the citizens who registered for the appointment in advance.

It was reported that certain measures have been taken under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to improve living conditions of IDPs and provide them with employment opportunities. It was also noted that First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva pays special attention and takes care of people who suffered from war, including IDPs. 

The appeals of the citizens were mainly related to the improvement of housing and living conditions, communal services, status, single monthly allowance, employment, return to the territories freed from occupation and other issues.

At the reception of the chairman of the committee, the appeals of the citizens, most of whom are internally displaced, were heard and recorded accordingly. They were informed that the issues raised will be investigated and resolved in accordance with the legislation.
