Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, met with a group of internally displaced war veterans.

First, the dear memory of the martyrs who died for the sake of ensuring the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence.

It was mentioned that the great Victory of our brave Army led by the President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev over Armenian fascism gave our people a great sense of joy and pride, the liberation of our lands from occupation made it possible for IDPs to return to their homeland, the Great Return has already begun, also First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva always took care of the families of the martyrs and war veterans. It was brought to attention that solving the issues related to citizens of this category is a priority in the social policy of our state.

The chairman of the committee said that the patriotism of each of the meeting participants is an example for future generations, and thanked them for their bravery in the defense of our homeland.

During the meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, the internally displaced war veterans expressed their thoughts and opinions, talked about the features of the post-war period, their dreams and aspirations. They were told that all issues raised at the meeting will be thoroughly investigated and resolved in accordance with the legislation.
