On April 12, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev heard the appeals of citizens registered for the reception on a rotating basis and answered their questions.

It was noted that the perfect political line pursued by President Ilham Aliyev ensured the comprehensive and sustainable development of our country and the consistent implementation of all social projects. It was noted that President Ilham Aliyev identified the solution of the problems of IDPs as one of the priorities of social policy. Necessary measures are being taken to improve their housing and living conditions and ensure the sustainable settlement of the population in the liberated territories. First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva also pays special attention and care to the solution of housing, education and health problems of IDPs, and is doing important works in this area.

Citizens’ appeals were mainly related to the improvement of housing and living conditions, utility services, status, a single monthly allowance, employment, return to the liberated territories and other issues.

At the reception of the chairman of the committee, the appeals of the majority of IDPs were heard and duly registered. They were told that the issues raised will be investigated and resolved in accordance with the legislation.
