Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons met Alen Romestand and Gregori Herpe, French journalists visiting our country under the joint project of the State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora and Paris-based Azerbaijan House.

It was noted that people from this category have always been provided with attention and care as a priority of President Ilham Aliyev’s social policy. It was stated that the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva conducted necessary actions for improving housing and living conditions, expanding educational opportunities and protecting health of IDPs.

Guests were informed on realities created after 44-day Patriotic War, measures taken for restoration of liberated territories and safe, voluntary and decent return of IDPs to those lands. It was stated that objective, accurate and unbiased attitude of prestigious and well-known journalists in communicating realities about occupation and its consequences, as well as the situation after Azerbaijan’s military and political victory to the international community was a significant factor.

French journalists thanked for such a sincere meeting and informed about their purpose in visiting to our country.
