Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons met Lev Spivak, President of Israel-Azerbaijan International Association. The meeting was attended by Israeli businessman Bar Ihielin and his consultant Melamed Lemuel.
It was noted that solution of issues of refugees and IDPs was one of social policy’s priorities of Azerbaijan.
It was stated that currently restoration and construction works were being implemented and infrastructure was being built in the liberated territories. Mine action in the territories is prioritized. The fact that Armenia doesn’t provide mine maps is a contradictory event to human behaviour.
Lev Spivak thanked for such a sincere meeting and stressed the high level of Israel-Azerbaijan relations. He noted that however the war ended, the fact that maps of mine leading to the death of people were still not provided was the violation of existing international norms.
