Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons met Jahit Baghji the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in our country on July 23.

The Chairman of the Committee congratuled the ambassador on the occasion of starting his diplomatic activity in our country by noting that Azerbaijan-Turkey relations characterized as “one nation, two states” by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev were in the interest of the two peoples completely, friendship and brotherhood relations between President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan benefitted to our countries greatly.

Ambassador Jahit Baghji thanked for such a sincere receiption, highlighted the importance of liberation of Azerbaijan’s lands from occupation for Turkic world and said that he would endeavour for strengthening Turkey-Azerbaijan relations in a condition of new realities
