Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev met with the newly elected members of the Public Council under the Committee.

The chairman of the Committee congratulated the Council members and wished them luck in their future activities.

It was underlined that reforms are being implemented in our country in all areas, including in work with refugees and IDPs, favorable conditions are being created for citizens of this category to return to their native land as a result of the victory gained in 44-day Patriotic War. It was mentioned that the vast majority of IDPs want to return to their native land soon, preparations are being made for the great return at the instruction of the head of state, wide range of measures are being taken for this purpose. It was stated that new composition of the Public Council started to operate at this important time. The Public Council will be supported by the Committee to achieve the efficient organization of public attendance in development and implementation of the state policy in the field of work with refugees and IDPs.   

The newly elected members of the Public Council stated that they will act in compliance with the applicable laws and instructions of the head of state, participate closely in their enlightening and protection of their legal interests, along with performing efficiently in work with refugees and IDPs.
