In line with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation continues. The families relocating to Shukurbayli village in Jabrayil district had been temporarily residing in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.

At this stage, 25 families comprising 154 people have been relocated to Shukurbayli village.

The residents returning to their homeland expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care and support provided to them. They also expressed their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, as well as to our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and prayed for the souls of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
