On December 30, Chairman of The State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev met with members of the Khojaly sports club operating in the “Gobu Park 2” residential complex.
The meeting was attended by Novruz Khudiyev, the head coach of the branch of the sports club operating in the village, and athletes.
It was noted that President Ilham Aliyev defined attention and care for sports and athletes as an integral part of state policy. As a result, our country is making important progress in the development of physical education and sports, and our athletes are achieving high results in various prestigious competitions. First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva pays great attention to the physical and spiritual health of the younger generation, the integration of children and adolescents with special needs for social protection into society, their place in life, and their growth as worthy citizens.
It was emphasized that consistent measures are being taken to increase the mass participation in sports among the internally displaced persons, in the villages and residential complexes built for them, there are sports sections.

Later, Novruz Khudiyev spoke in detail about the year-long activity of the sports club, the victories of its members in kickboxing and expressed gratitude for the sincere meeting.
